Konkana sen was born on 3 decmber 1979 she is a daughter of a science writer and journalist mukul Sharma and filmmaker and actress aparna sen.......she was a student of modern high school and did degree in English from st. Stephen college......konkana made a debut as a child artist in film indira in 1983 she made her debut in the Bengali film ek je aachhe kanya in which she had a negative role...... she also acted in film page 3 in 2005 and her performance was appreciated as well as she received national film award for this social kind of film......her performance was acclaimed as mentally ill women in 15 park avenue in 2005 and as a middle age village women in omkara in 2006 that film was a block buster...
