In Gordon B. Hinckley's April 2002 Conference Talk Titled "We Look To Christ" Hinckley states that the LDS Church doesn't believe in the traditional Christ of Christianity.
Instead they believe in the witness and testimony of Joseph Smith who claimed to have had a vision of God when Joseph was 14 years old.
