Grace Bush has already received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Florida Atlantic University. On May 2nd, Grace officially graduated from college at the young age of 16.

But what makes the feat even more astonishing is that she completed college before high school. Grace will be receiving her high school diploma on May 9th.

She was able to graduate from college early thanks to Florida Atlantic University high school’s dual enrollment program which permits high achieving students like Grace to earn credits for the same courses for their college degree.

Her parents knew about the program and urged all of their 9 children to take part in it, knowing they couldn’t afford to send the kids to college. Grace remarked ‘I started when I was 13 at Broward College and I also took my classes throughout the summer, so I was able to finish it before four years.’

She maintained a 3.8 grade point average throughout her three years in college. Grace is one of the youngest students to graduate from Florida Atlantic University in over a century.

Now, she is planning on obtaining a master’s degree and applying to law school. Her ultimate goal is to become the chief justice of the United States.
