In 1963, President John F. Kennedy visited Salt Lake to deliver a speech. In his speech, he referred often to "the Mormons", Mormon history & pioneers and the Mormon Church. Listen to parts of JFK's speech. The Mormon pioneers that he describes were a central part of history that defined the Mormon Church. In Utah, the Mormons blossomed and began to spread throughout the world.
