Trinidad: 49 Years Since Black Power Revolution Of 1970

Sunday marks the 49th anniversary of the state of emergency which was declared in Trinidad and Tobago during the Black Power revolution of 1970. Mass mobilizations occurred across the country from Feb 26-April 21 as East Indians and Africans united in protest.
