Ayodhya verdict opened doors for temple construction, but shut BJP politics: Congress

Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said Congress is in favour of the construction of Ram Temple after the Supreme Court ordered the centre to set up a trust within three months for the construction of the temple on the disputed site.

“Supreme Court's verdict has come, we are in favour of the construction of Ram Temple. This judgement not only opened the doors for the temple's construction but also closed the doors for BJP and others to politicise the issue.” Sujrewal made the statement while addressing a press conference in New Delhi.
