Rwanda ranks among the top five fastest growing economies in the world. The stats were published by Focus Economics and show Rwanda's average growth to be 6.7 percent. The report further indicates that the country's nominal GDP has increased from 2 billion US dollars in the year 2000 to 10 billion US dollars in 2019.
