  • last year
Doctors and members of the public have told a Parliamentary committee about their experience with long COVID and repeated infections. Witnesses have told of struggling to get access to clinics set up to treat long covid and how they felt g-ps were not well equipped to deal with the condition. The inquiry also heard that a high number people in indigenous and regional communities are at risk of long COVID. Some medical experts say Australia has poor data on the long covid which is holding back treatment.
