Protesters from transport group Pagkakaisa ng mga Samahan ng Tsuper at Operator Nationwide (PISTON) are shouting their slogans during a protest action along Caruncho Ave in Pasig City on Monday, April 29.
They urge other jeepney drivers passing by the area to join the nationwide three-day strike amid the looming final deadline for the consolidation of jeepney operators to either a cooperative or a corporation as the first step in the Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Modernization Program.
