Victorian government considers expanding police powers to issue permanent bans on family violence perpetrators

Police could have expanded powers to intervene in domestic violence matters in new reforms under serious consideration by the Allan government. The government says the move would close a loophole hampering police as it looks at ways to tackle the crisis.
