Thaksin risks losing English football club -- 18 august 2008

Thailand's prime minister has caused a rift in his government by putting up "wanted" posters for former leader Thaksin Shinawatra around the country.

Thaksin and his wife fled corruption charges in Thailand, choosing exile in the UK, where he is the owner of Manchester City, a Premier league football club.

But that prestigious title may now be in jeopardy, as Al Jazeera's Richard Bestic reports.
